It was during this time that he found his niche and developed his skills in Subprime residential and ICI mortgage origination, underwriting and placement. David was also elected and served as a Director of The Ontario Mortgage Brokers Association in its final year of service to Ontario Mortgage Brokers.

Since its inception First Equity has been originating and placing mortgages for institutional lenders, private investors, co-brokers, and third party money managers. Even as a boutique sized firm First Equity has achieved substantial milestones in annual originations and year over year growth .

Over the last 18 years in the Mortgage industry and as a broker since 1993, David has become an expert in originating, underwriting and placing Subprime first and second mortgages including residential, commercial, industrial, construction, special purpose and recreational property mortgages in Ontario.
