Albert is the President of Argentum Mortgage and Finance Corporation. Albert is a diversified senior manager who possesses extensive business development and operations experience. Albert’s fields of expertise are in strategic development plan implementation, mentoring and developing individuals, building and nurturing relationships, and executing and co-ordinating from an operations perspective.
In his spare time Albert has coached minor hockey for nearly 15 years at the AA, AAA and Junior A level. He has organized and co-ordinated a charity component for a high-profile Bankers and Lenders event in Toronto with the participation of the Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni, the Ottawa Senators and Brampton Battalion. Albert assists local hockey organizations and clubs in their fund-raising efforts to help them offset the cost of tournaments, travel, and extra ice time for the players.

Shane Suepaul is currently a Mortgage Broker with Avanti Financial Services Inc. (Licence # 11977) in Pickering. He has over 20 years experience in his field, having worked for several financial institutions including Laurentian Bank of Canada, Canada Trust, and other banks and Trust Companies. He has held Senior Credit positions with these companies and has developed solid skills in Mortgage Underwriting and Business Development. Shane has lectured at Centennial College in Scarborough on the "Ten Steps to Becoming a successful Mortgage agent".
Shane enjoys his community involvements and sits on his local Church board. He has devoted over 15 years service with Scouts Canada where he was also able to spend quality time with his 3 sons. He writes "Mortgage" articles for a community newpaper and could be heard weekly on CHIN radio with his great Mortgage Minutes.
His association with IMBA in the past, and being a Past President, has allowed Shane to have a voice in the ever-changing mortgage business he loves.

Jonah Bonn has been a Mortgage Agent for Ontario Wealth Management Corporation (Licence 10506), a private lender, since 2004.
Jonah is responsible for sourcing and underwriting mortgage transactions including commercial, residential and construction financing.
Prior to joining Owemanco, Mr. Bonn spent three years at a land development company based in Ottawa where he was responsible for managing the finances and planning functions for a portfolio of urban development parcels. Before that, Mr. Bonn was an auditor at KPMG Chartered Accountants LLP in their Toronto office.
Mr. Bonn holds B.Sc. and B.A. degrees from the University of Ottawa and a Masters degree in Management and Professional Accounting from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.

Margo has been a mortgage originator since 1998. Her academic achievements include an Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Toronto, and an Honours Post-Diploma in Financial Services Underwriting from Seneca College of Applied Arts And Technology.
In 2003, Margo obtained her mortgage broker's registration and formed her own company, specializing in residential mortgage financing. In 2006, she joined the Verico Mortgage Brokers Network – a national network of independent mortgage brokers, and formed Verico One Mortgage Corp., with an office in the Niagara region. Margo credits her success to date to the loyal client and referral base she has nurtured over the years. In addition to an annual scholarship program, Margo regularly hosts appreciation events and learning opportunities that her clients have enjoyed over the years.
Margo’s commitment to continuing formal education allows her to be an excellent resource for her clients. She is an instructor for IMBA, and often visits area schools to teach students and faculty about credit and mortgage financing. She is also an accomplished rower, and now stays fit by participating in international long-distance rowing tours.

Jeff has been a professional mortgage broker for over 20 years and a banker/lender the previous ten years. His primary focus in the mortgage brokerage business is placement of private funds into mortgage investments and provides co-brokering services to many mortgage brokerage firms throughout Ontario. He holds his CPMB, AMP, and SCMF.
Jeff has been a board member of the IMBA since 2002. He has chaired the Government Relations Committee since 2004; he has played an integral role of communicating IMBA’s members’ needs in the consultation of Bill 65.
Before sitting on the board of directors of IMBA he was involved with OMBA from 1988-1994 where he held the positions of President, Treasurer and chaired and sat on various committees including Ethics, Education, Government Relations, Chapters, By-Laws and Membership among others.
Jeff is a certified IMBA instructor and was an instructor of the Mortgage Brokers Course from 1987 - 1994 where he was one of only two people who could teach all sections of the course.

Raj Babber is the Owner/President of Canadian Lending Network (CLN). Raj graduated from York University in 1997 with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Throughout university, Raj worked for Canada Trust and Bank of Montreal gaining experience at the branch level and developing my client service skills. From there Raj progressed to working with CIBC as a Relationship Manager and growing his clients’ financial portfolios.
Raj’s focus on mortgages began in 1999 when he returned to Canada Trust as part of their Mortgage Sales Force. Raj realized that this was an area that he excelled at and really enjoyed helping clients secure one the most important investments in their lives. Together with 3 other partners, Raj formed Ontario Mortgage Services and worked with this company for the next few years. Once Raj obtained his Mortgage Broker’s license from Seneca College, he made the decision to start his own company, Canadian Lending Network Inc in 2004.
In November 2009 Raj was recognized as an Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) and in April 2010 was designated as a Certified Professional Mortgage Broker (CPMB). Raj has also been recognized with awards from various lenders due to the volumes of business my company consistently produces.

Harold Cowling has over 30 years of experience in the Financial Services sector. Most recently Harold joined Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) in 1995 as the Business Development Officer responsible for Durham Region and Eastern Ontario. In 1998 Harold became the first CMHC Business Development Officer in Ontario to be specifically designated to manage the Mortgage Broker account. During his time at CMHC Harold has progressed taking on various roles with increased responsibilities.
Currently Harold is a Principal of Business Development and the Operational Lead on the Mortgage Broker Account nationally. Harold’s Business Development team is responsible for servicing Mortgage Brokers and many of the Broker Lenders in Ontario. Harold believes that his industry knowledge as a mortgage insurer coupled with his years of experience managing both Broker and Lender accounts will provide a unique perspective and allow him to contribute to the ongoing success of IMBA.
Harold is married, has four children and has recently become a proud grandfather.

Liz Doyle has been in the Mortgage Brokerage industry since 2003 after completing the Financial Services Underwriting program at Seneca College, with Honours. She is currently the Broker/Owner of CENTUM Mortgage Options Inc. Liz has been an IMBA member since 2005. She has also been a member of CAAMP since 2004 and has her AMP designation. Liz believes in the sharing of knowledge and has enjoyed teaching the IMBA Mortgage Agent Course for the past 3 years. Prior to joining the Mortgage Brokerage industry, Liz raised two daughters who are now attending post-secondary school. In her life before children, she worked for 2 major financial institutions in various capacities. Liz believes that only the highest level of integrity and ethical standards will propel the industry forward in a positive direction and getting involved as a Director with IMBA is a positive way to contribute to its ongoing success.

In 1987 Roslyn started her mortgage career with Credit Realty/Rosemont Investment Corporation a wellrespected private lender/brokerage firm in Ontario. There she gained her experience in arranging private, syndication/participation mortgages and enforcement for both residential and commercial transactions. Since then she expanded her career to include institutional brokering with Estate Mortgage and in 1998 started her own mortgage brokerage company RBG. In 2006 the Company became a member of the Verico Network. Roslyn has placed significant emphasis on having the ability to act as an independent mortgage broker.
Since the beginning of her career Roslyn has been an active supporter of both provincial and national mortgage associations. She has sat on various committees and Boards over the years. With IMBA she has served on education, government relations and the ski day committees for the past several years. Roslyn is a strong proponent of ethics and professionalism in the Industry, and protecting and promoting the independent mortgage broker. Her goals as a board member include raising industry standards, public awareness and communications with every level of government and the lending community.

Allan Kates is a licensed Mortgage Broker and the Vice-President of Northwood Mortgage Ltd. Allan is responsible for managing more than 160 Mortgage Agents and Brokers, as well as a team of underwriters. Allan was first registered to deal in mortgages in Ontario in 1999. Allan holds a B.A. degree in economics from the University of Western Ontario and a marketing /business diploma from Humber College.
Allan is married and he and his wife have 3 children. Allan’s family is one of his passions. Allan’s other passion is to play golf. His goal is to become a “scratch” golfer soon. Allan has been a member of IMBA’s SummerFest Committee since 2009.

Martin Marshall has over 25 years experience in the sales, marketing, administration and underwriting areas of the mortgage industry. He began his career in 1980 with Household International, where he held numerous management and executive positions with Household Finance, Merchant Retail Services Ltd. and Household Trust. In 1998 he left Household International and joined SunLife Trust to manage their mortgage broker operations for Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces.
He subsequently joined the Laurentian Bank group in 2000 with their acquisition of SunLife Trust and as Assistant Vice President-Indirect Sales his responsibilities included the marketing of the Laurentian Bank One Stop Broker Program to mortgage brokers outside of Quebec, the underwriting of all mortgage applications received from those brokers, and the management of both new and existing relationships with both internal and external business partners across Canada. He was also responsible for the marketing, sales, underwriting and administration relating to the existing Laurentian Bank-Indirect Sales mortgage portfolio of $1.5 billion.
In 2007 Martin re focused his career and joined Mortgage Intelligence as their Regional Vice President for Ontario. It was during this time that Martin successfully wrote IMBA's "10 Steps" Mortgage Agent exam and was granted licensed agent status by FSCO in 2008. Martin accepted increased levels of responsibility while at MI until the sale of the company to INVIS in October of 2008.
Martin currently focuses his professional experience and efforts with two companies. He works with Homeguard Funding, one of Ontario's oldest and most respected regional mortgage brokerages as their Ontario Sales Manager and he is also working with the Verico Mortgage Brokers Network as their Manager, Corporate Development.
Martin has been a member of IMBA's Board of Directors since 2005. He is married with a teenage daughter and the family resides in Toronto. Martin enjoys golfing, travelling and especially watching his daughter play competitive fastball.

Brian began his career 13 years ago as a Manager with Bank of Nova Scotia’s, Roynat Capital, Canada’s largest term lender and merchant bank. Subsequently, he joined Quorum Funding Corporation as Vice President, Investments and co managed a $30 million subordinated debt real estate fund.

Bill has been in the mortgage industry for 16 years. He spent 12 years with Norlite/Mortgage Intelligence, and was in their top 10 for the last 9 of those 12 years – reaching #1 in Ontario for the final 3 of those 12 years. In the first full year with Dominion Lending Centres (2010), Bill’s franchise ranked #1 across Canada for both the number of funded deals and the total dollar volume amount funded! Bill has been a member of CAAMP since its inception, and served as a CAAMP Director for 3 years.
Previous to becoming a mortgage broker, Bill was a successful sales representative for Oshawa Foods for several years, servicing the major “restaurant and hospital” accounts.
Bill loves meeting people and enjoy keeping in touch with clients year to year, and building on my accounts.

Lou has been involved in the financing of real estate since 1977. Lou started his career as a personal finance associate with a consumer credit company. Lou’s career advanced in the 1970’s and early 1980’s in various positions, which progressively carried more responsibility, with a mortgage company and real estate developer. In 1981 Lou started his own general contracting and real estate development business, which he operated until 1988 at which time he transitioned into the business of mortgage financing. Lou incorporated Domus Financial Corporation in January 1992 and the company first received its registration under the Mortgage Brokers Act in September 1992. Lou, was conferred with the Certified Professional Mortgage Broker (CPMB) designation in January 2007 Lou’s diverse career path and his extensive knowledge of financing methods and market conditions enable him to provide reliable advice to both borrower and lender clients.

Claudio Polito is the managing partner with Cross-Town Appraisal Ltd., a property appraisal and realty consulting company that offers a wide range of property valuation services. The firm serves all of the Greater Toronto Area and outlying rural areas. The emphasis is on residential appraisals (improved and unimproved), storefronts and smaller industrial / commercial parcels.
Claudio has been involved in the appraisal industry for over 20 years and in 2006 received his AACI accreditation. With his team of appraisers and administrators, Claudio works alongside hundreds of mortgage brokers and major lending institutions to provide qualified and professional appraisals across the GTA and surrounding areas.
In 2010 Claudio, along with his wife were asked to join the Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation as committee members. The foundation strives to provide well deserved funding for a variety of community organizations working to better the lives of others.
Claudio prides himself on his dedication to work, family, and his community.
