• IMBA is the voice of the Mortgage Brokers and Agents of Ontario. IMBA’s Directors represent the Association’s Members and the mortgage brokerage industry, and they promote Members’ interests to the Government of Ontario, Regulators and to Consumers.
• IMBA provides effective networking and business opportunities for Mortgage Brokers and Agents with other industry participants and promotes interaction among the Association’s Members through events such as the Annual Conference, WinterFest, SummerFest, Seminars and Symposiums.
• IMBA delivers affordable, relevant training and education in Ontario that assists Mortgage Brokers in developing their Agents’ knowledge base.
• IMBA also offers a comprehensive package of insurance products for its Members that includes general liability, automobile, health, dental, and mortgage impairment.
• IMBA presents the premier networking Conference for Mortgage Brokers and Agents in Ontario.  Members are entitled to preferred pricing and priority registration for sessions.
• IMBA provides its Members with useful publications such as a Mortgage Industry Reference Guide, E-Newsletters and the BrokerBiz Magazine.
• All Members are eligible to provide leadership to the industry by serving on Committees and IMBA’s Board of Directors.  Mortgage Brokers and Agents, who are classified as Active Members, carry voting rights at meetings of the Members.
• All Members receive a professional listing on the Association’s web site which provides opportunities for Consumers to do business with Members.
• Many of IMBA’s Members are seasoned and experienced Mortgage Brokers and Agents who have access to non-institutional funds and who willingly co-broker with other Members.
