There are four Membership Classes in the Independent Mortgage Brokers Association of Ontario: Active Members, Associate Members, Corporate Associate Members and Honorary Members. Individuals and organizations are entitled to become Members of the Association based on the conditions of eligibility for each class of membership. Active MembersIndividuals who are registered or licensed in the Province of Ontario as Mortgage Brokers or Agents of registered or licensed Mortgage Brokers and whose registrations or licenses are in good standing with the regulatory authorities shall be eligible to become Active Members of the Association, and if previously were Members of the Association, memberships were in good standing. The annual fee is currently $150 plus HST. Apply for Active Membership Online OR Apply by Mail or Fax (Download Application Associate MembersIndividuals who are not eligible, or choose not to become Active Members, and who are directly or indirectly engaged in mortgage financing shall be eligible to become Associate Members of the Association, and if previously were Members of the Association, memberships were in good standing. The annual fee is currently $150 plus HST. Apply for Associate Membership Online OR Apply by Mail or Fax (Download Application Corporate Associate MembersCorporations, partnerships, proprietorships or other similar organisations that are directly or indirectly engaged in mortgage financing shall be eligible to become Corporate Associate Members of the Association and if previously were Members of the Association, memberships were in good standing. The annual fee is $375.00 plus HST, which includes 3 designates. Additional designates may be added for an annual fee of $100 plus HST.
